The rumours are claiming that the release of the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 could be one of 2016's biggest events – so now is the time to get excited! With a launch date just around the corner (August), now is the time to find out all you need to know about the new Note handset.

Samsung Galaxy Note 6

Powerful Handset

Not everyone is a fan of the Note series with most Samsung users being massively into the S series. However, the Note provides a large and powerful punch when it comes to Samsung handsets. As a feature heavy device, there’s talk of a dual-lens camera which is exactly what fans and prospective users want to hear!

A Mid-August Launch

While we’re not 100% of the exact launch date as yet, Samsung have hinted at a mid-Aug launch with some techies claiming it to be August 2nd. However, what’s slightly confusing and also exciting about this release is that there is a lot of speculation that the expected Samsung Galaxy Note 6 is actually rumoured to be called the Samsung Galaxy Note 7. But I guess we’ll have to wait and see exactly what handset is released in August. In the meantime, here are the specs…

Samsung Galaxy Note 6 Specs

The Note 6 is said to feature a 5.77-inch display with a 2K (QHD) screen resolution and Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 processor. It’s claimed to come with 6GB RAM and 256GB storage kept running by a 4,200mAh battery. In addition to these powerful specs, the handset is also IP68-certified waterproof and dustproof. However, because Samsung is yet to reveal any official details about the Galaxy Note 6, and there’s speculation that it may not even exist and jump right to the Note 7 Edge, we thought we’d round up what we’ve heard so far.

It’s an exciting time for Samsung and Note lovers alike, and with the release date not too far into the future, we’ll soon find out what exactly we’re getting: a Samsung Galaxy Note 6 or Samsung Galaxy Note 7…
